A new playground has been opened at the Rescue Centre!
Thanks to donations from Germany, a fun playground was built for the children at the Rescue Centre in August.
The little adventurers are thrilled, as the playground is equipped with a colourful slide and carousel. This gives the children the opportunity to romp around to their heart’s content and discover new things through play.
Playgrounds are not just places for fun, but also a learning environment. While children play together, they develop valuable social skills. In addition, playing outdoors greatly supports children’s physical and mental development.
We are proud of the playground because it is not only an asset to the community, but also a prerequisite for the registration of the Rescue Centre in Kenya. With this extension, we can now cater even better to the children’s needs and create a place where they can thrive.
