Replacement of the well at the Rescue Centre
Recently, the water pump at the Rescue Centre had been showing increasing technical problems until it finally stopped working altogether. After several consultations and repair attempts by local specialists, the pump has now been replaced. Thanks to donations, we were able to cover the total costs of around 1,500 euros.
We are very pleased that the water is now flowing again thanks to the new pump and that the centre and fields can be supplied with water! Around 20 families in the surrounding neighbourhood also draw water from the well.
